Consultant (Project Manager)
The Consultant will hold end-to-end Project Management responsibilities including scoping, contracts review, knowledge transfer, resource management, budget management, and overseeing the production of deliverables. Many projects will require the hands-on participation of the Consultant as a subject matter expert and/or application expert. Leading candidates for the Consultant role will be highly experienced both in deploying CRM solutions (ie: salesforce.com, Siebel, Oracle, etc) as well as in designing and deploying other custom business applications. Consultants function as project and technical lead on smaller projects, and work with a dedicated team on larger projects. Deep technical skills, strong requirements analysis and documentation capability, solution design skills, and excellent communication and client management skills are required for this position. Additional qualifications include: PMP certification, huge plus; 5+ years in an information technology consulting role, delivering projects to multiple clients; Extensive experience designing and implementing database-driven business applications with MS-SQL, Oracle, mySQL, etc. may also qualify; Strong experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications, including XML, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript; Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating technology tools into a client solution; Experience with data migration practices, ETL tools, and enterprise integration technologies; Organized, detail-oriented, and determined to produce high-quality, on-time work; Strong business process focus and skills; Demonstrated leadership skills and proven project management abilities. Current opportunities reside in San Francisco and Atlanta. Position is based remote and travel is required (up to 50%) within the territory and occasional travel outside the territory.
